I was ready to get out and run this morning after taking Sun and Mon off from running. Today I concentrated on pace and running up/down hills on this short run. I was happy with the results, have an average pace of 8.37/mile and pushed hard up and down the hills. I found that my recovery time after getting to the top of the hills is starting to decrease and I am able to get up the hills faster. I am not sure I could keep that pace up for more than a 10K distance, but I am impressed that my speed and endurance continue to improve.
